Finnish as a second language for 4 to 7 years.

Time:

Approx. twice a month on Saturdays from 12.15 to 2.15pm.

Scandinavian Centre,
6540 Thomas Street, Burnaby.

Teacher:

This class is aimed at students:

- 5 to 7 years old primarily

The goals are:

- to encourage the child to use Finnish within the class
- to familiarize children with the Finnish language basics (e.g. alphabet, sounds, syllabification, rhyming)
- to learn more everyday Finnish through different medias
- to deepen the knowledge of Finnish traditions and customs
- to support the parents in the development and maintenance of the Finnish language among their children
